Our Marriage

On May 22, 2004, (Mick) Michael Craig Dobra and Jessica Elizabeth Schultz were united in marriage before our church and family and in the site of God.

"Haven't you read," Jesus replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,' and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate." Matthew 19:4-6

In June of 2004, we publicly confessed that we are sinners separated from a Holy God and that we could never be good enough to enter into His presence. We publicly acknowledged that it is only by God's merciful grace and the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ, that we may enter heaven for eternity. It is only by Jesus Christ's resurrection that our hope is secure for eternal life to come. We were baptized by Pastor Jim Powell at Richwoods Christian Church in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Dying to our old lives, and raising to our new lives in Christ!

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

We dedicate our lives and family as living sacrifices to our Savior and King, Jesus Christ.

As for me and my household, we will serve the LORD! Joshua 24:14-15

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. Romans 12:1
